Desire will be delivered to Berts Better Beers this evening (7/7/2010)! 

This is quite an amazing time for us here at Moonlight Meadery, seeing a dream come true!  Desire is our first release, available in limited quantities (only 48 bottles of batch #1 being released.  This is the mead that won Best of Show at the 2009 New England Regional Homebrew competition, which contained over 350 entries.  Judges describe this melomel as being sweet with a wonderful complexity from fruit, thats supported by the honey in the finish.

Mead is the oldest fermented beverage made from honey, water and yeast.  This is our speciality, our passion.  We aren't going to make meads that are like "wine".
